It seems to me that the blog world is fading and that makes me sad… there are still those few faithful bloggers out there, but a majority of the blogs I used to read seem to be fading away… sad day in the blog world. On another note, let’s be random for a minute….
- Is it just me, or is Rachel Ray on every box of crackers EVER! I mean, i’m a fan of The Food Network but I don’t want her staring at me every time I pick up my box of Triscut’s.
- I never realized how loud my Pathfinder was until I heard somebody else drive it the other day – new muffler is high on the priority list!
- The beloved Dell that I prayed over and it came back to life has once again bit the dust… that was a short lived computer ministry I had there…
- I am in the process of learning music scales for my violin lessons and I have a newfound respect for musicians! There are alot of scales and this is going to be a little more difficult that I thought…
- We are about to embark on a 40 day fast as a House of Prayer and I am stoked for it! I really feel the Lord is going to do something incredible during these 40 days and I can’t wait to see what He does..
- My friend’s Ben and Bekah get married in like 11 days, a month after that my good friend’s Nick and Sarah get married, 15 days after that my good friends Luke and Bri get married.. this excites me because I LOVE weddings!! Especially weddings of people I love so much…
- My favorite color is red.
- I sat in the prayer room today for a good half hour just asking the Lord why He loves us so much… I can’t wrap my mind around His love and as I am meditating through 1 Corinthians 13 it’s just boggling my mind….
- I just realized that the time I am planning on going out to Kansas City will fall during the Israel Mandate conference and I am so excited about that… I’m wondering if that is part of the reason the Lord told me to go out there…
- My favorite hymn is “Come Thou Fount”
End of randomness….
I remember you made luke play come thou fount. poor dell
Keep working on those scales! Violin is very challenging to do well. …And Rachel does go for the Triscuits a lot doesn’t she. [From your earlier comment re: classical:] If you are into impressionism I can give you a link to some free mp3 downloads of Debussy and other stuff.
I really like Sarah Groves’ version of come thou fount…wait did I just admit to being a Sarah Groves listener? Surely I meant something more manly like, Rage Against The Machine’s version… wow can you imagine what it would sound like if they covered “Come Thou Fount”… revival would have to come then…
I am a bigtime SG fan and not ashamed to admit this. Her stuff is so thought-provoking it puts the CCM industry to shame!
Oh and tell The Beav (Nick Beaver) I got Creed to play at his wedding… he’ll geek out just watch… or ask him about the time I covered Guns and Roses songs on stage at a festival outside IHOP, and Mike and Misty were there, heard me singing Guns and Roses, and decided after that to make a no secular music rule after that… Beav played with me on stage during it. SHHEEENNNEENNEENII NNIII!! yeah anyway, good times…
@ Zack – Well, seeing as I don’t know who Sarah Groves is – we’ll go with the more manly Rage Against the Machine version.. that would be pretty sweet… And I can just see Beav covering Guns and Roses.. he is one of the funniest people I know – he just looks at me and I start laughing… you should come out here and DJ his wedding and you guys can do a little reunion number… their wedding is going to be awesome!!
